Renee Nolan is a Partner at Lowey Dannenberg representing many of the nation’s largest healthcare payors in complex litigation in venues across the country, focusing primarily on affirmative recoveries. In her practice, she has litigated actions against some of the largest corporations in the world alleged to have engaged in fraud, waste, and abuse, and achieved substantial victories at the trial and appellate levels.   • Secured $145 million recovery for certified classes of health plans and insurers as co-lead counsel in In re Ranbaxy Generic Drug Antitrust Litigation, alleging that generic drug maker Ranbaxy violated antitrust laws when it engaged in a decades-long scheme to obtain first-filed ANDAs despite rampant GMP violations in their facilities
  • Defeated challenge to certification of classes of health plans and insurers alleging generic delay in the First Circuit Court of Appeals
  • Recovered millions in overcharges as part of a team representing a large group of insurers alleging they were induced to pay billions of dollars for adulterated and falsely marketed drugs that came from GlaxoSmithKline
